Learn all of the features and functionality of your Turvo integration
Setting up the Turvo Integration
1. Go to admin console - API and web hooks
2. Select a public API profile that you have API username and password for or create one
3. Go to loadops - Integrations - Turvo - Click add new account
4. Fill in the form with all of the required fields. See below the screenshot for information on each field
Broker - This is the name of the customer that is created in LoadOps. If you do not have the broker customer created, go to Operations - Contacts - and then create the customer that you will link to the Turvo brokerage.
Carrier ID - This is the carrier that you created in Turvo to send load tenders to and would be the name of the asset division load tenders are being offer to. You can get the Carrier ID from the TURVO URL on the carrier page of Turvo
Activation Name - You can give this integration any name you'd like. We recommend something like "Turvo API"
Client ID & Client Secret - Found on API profile on Turvo
Turvo API Key - Grab from Turvo
5. Setup Webhooks on Turvo
Add web hook profile and give any name that is recognizable as a LoadOps webhook.
Notify URL - https://app.loadops.com/backendpublic/tnt/api/v2/edi/receive-turvo-data?apiKey=
NOTE: You must enter your LoadOps API key after the "=" in the URL
Auth type - Set to permanent
Token - Enter your LoadOps API Key
Permissions for Shipment and Offer must be set as in the screenshot below:
Accepting a load tender in LoadOps
Once you have created your shipment in Turvo and sent an offer to LoadOps, navigate to Loads - Load Tenders
Under the "New" tab you will see all of your pending load tenders. You can then decide to accept or decline the tender. Once you have accepted the tender, the load will be created on LoadOps and the status of the shipment on Turvo will change from "Tendered" to "Covered"
Making changes to and advancing a tendered load
Once the load has been accepted in LoadOps, LoadOps becomes the master source for some of the load details. Assigning a driver, dispatching, and updating load statuses and stop level updates should all be done in LoadOps. These updates will then be reflected in Turvo
Other elements about the load such as addresses and appointment times should be updated in Turvo, which will then flow into LoadOps. This ensures that if an EDI update makes changes to the shipment on Turvo, that these changes are reflected in LoadOps.
Pushing invoice line items and documents from LoadOps to Turvo
When the load has been completed, you should then update any accessorials to the invoice on LoadOps. You should not update the linehaul of the load on LoadOps, as that was determined by the offer sent from Turvo to LoadOps and WILL NOT be reflected in Turvo.
When you are done adding your additional invoice items, click on the "Send to Turvo" button at the top of the invoice tab.
Any documents uploaded to LoadOps will automatically flow into Turvo.
