What's New in April

New features in April

We have a few significant enhancements coming in the next few releases!

1. Empty Trips have finally arrived.  Suppose you need to make a trip stop before an initial pickup or have a driver return home on a round-trip. In that case, you can now resequence those internal trip stops before/after initial pickups and final deliveries to capture empty movements accurately. The system will still calculate the empty movement from the previous trip's last stop to the next trip's first stop without creating additional stops.

But what if I just want to make a trailer move or relocate a driver? Empty trips can now be created independently from the Trip page! Empty trips act like any other trip, but there will be no load, no customer, and no invoice associated.

2. Non-taxable Payments in Settlements. In addition to driver settlement Other Payment types such as Payments, Reimbursements, and Deductions we have added non-taxable deductions in order to facilitate more complicated payroll workflows within the same driver settlement function.

3. Samsara integration expansion. We have extended the Samsara integration to include the sharing of trip information from LoadOps in order to allow drivers to interact with the Samsara app rather than the LoadOps mobile app.  This expansion is a BETA feature that will likely continue to be developed with. user feedback.

4. API Suite Expansion.  We have expanded the API Suite to include GET Invoice List, GET Payments List, and CREATE Payments. This is the first of several enhancements intended to expand the connectivity of the platform to secondary systems such as Microsoft Dynamics and Netsuite.

5. Load Mileage Reset on Invoice. If you've manually updated your invoice mileage you can reset it to the default calculated PC Miler Practical route mileage in the invoice tab.
