What's new in August 2025
Updates and improvements across the board this month
The August 2025 updates focused on strengthening LoadOps through third-party integrations (DAT, SkyBitz), asset tagging, and relay/trailer coordination. Additionally, visibility into real-time driver activity was improved through ELD-driven enhancements in the dispatch Gantt view.
1. Load Board Integration
-
DAT Load Posting
Introduces the ability to post loads directly to DAT from LoadOps, streamlining the brokerage workflow and expanding capacity sourcing with fewer manual steps.
To continue in our efforts to enable our fleets with brokerage operations, we have added posting to DAT Loadboards (Truckstop to follow)
Now you can manage external carriers, provide customer portals, and post loads to loadboards. Next up, Highway Integration!
2. Tag and Equipment Association
-
Complete Tag Implementation with Tractors and Trailers
Finalized support for tagging tractors and trailers, enabling better grouping, searching, and filtering across asset types—completing the tagging ecosystem alongside drivers and loads.
We have continued to expand the custom tags feature to now include tractor and trailer assets as well!
Now any unique item you need to store on the asset level can be managed via custom tags.
3. Trailer Coordination and Relay Functionality
-
Trailer Association with Relay
Allows trailers to be explicitly linked with relay operations, improving trailer tracking and compatibility across relay legs.
Initial Trailer relay logic required the trailer to be on the initial trip before the relay was created in order to transfer the assignment to future legs. Now the trailer assignment will auto-fill for all future movements on relayed trips.
4. Driver Visibility via ELD Integration
-
Icon to Designate Driver’s Driving Status (from ELD) in Gantt
Adds a visual indicator in the Gantt view to show whether a driver is actively driving (based on ELD data), providing real-time operational clarity for planners and dispatchers.
We have previously only shown driver's driving status on the Dispatch Grid but we have added this now to the Gantt using clear icons for On Duty, Off Duty, Driving, and Sleeper Berth.
5. SkyBitz Integration
-
Integrate SkyBitz with LoadOps
Adds integration with SkyBitz, a telematics platform, enabling LoadOps users to receive GPS/location data from trailers or assets equipped with SkyBitz trackers.
